Our favrit dart set is handmade in Michigan, USA. Today Arthur & James VanHoutteghem are the only ones continuing the families three-generation tradition of making the Belgian darts and targets.
STANDARD TARGET AND DART continues the old world tradition that Arthur & James grandfather, Arthur VanHoutteghem, brought with him from Belgium over 70 years ago.
Each set comes with a board cut from end grain basswood and is two sided for many years of use. There are solid brass/copper dividers imbedded into the face of the target, that separate the different scoring rings. The outside edge of the target is covered with a solid brass band. The darts are made of birchwood, the feathers are select turkey feathers and the point is made from polished steel. They are precision made, accurate and correctly balanced with a lead weight.
